Is LightReach Right for You?
What makes LightReach different from a loan?
Unlike a traditional loan, LightReach is a lease program — not debt. You don’t take on a large balance, pay interest, or put a lien on your home. Instead, you pay one predictable monthly fee that covers your HVAC system, installation, maintenance, filters, parts, and repairs. It’s an all-inclusive subscription for comfort, backed by Palmetto and serviced locally by Soligo Air.
Will I own the HVAC system?
No. Under LightReach, Palmetto owns the HVAC system during your lease term. You enjoy full use, service, and warranty coverage for one flat payment.
What happens at the end of the lease?
You have several options:
Renew: Continue leasing at a reduced monthly rate.
Upgrade: Start a new lease with a brand-new system.
Buy Out: Purchase the system at a fair market price.
Return: End the lease and have the system removed.
Can I renew my LightReach lease at the end of the term?
Yes. If you’re happy with your system, you can simply renew. Most homeowners choose a 1-year or 3-year renewal. During renewal, your monthly payment is reduced (up to 25% lower than the final lease year), so you continue enjoying reliable comfort at a lower cost.
What if I want a brand-new system after my lease?
You can choose to upgrade. At the end of your term, you can start a new LightReach lease with the latest high-efficiency HVAC system. Upgrading gives you the benefit of modern technology, lower energy use, and a fresh full-term warranty — all with $0 down and one predictable payment.
Can I buy my system at the end of the lease?
Yes. If you’d like to keep your HVAC system, you can purchase it at the end of your lease for a fair market value buyout price. This option lets you transition from leasing to owning while still having enjoyed years of included maintenance and repairs.
What if I don’t want to renew, upgrade, or buy the system?
You can choose to end your lease. Palmetto will remove the system at the end of your term, and you won’t owe any further lease payments. This option gives you the flexibility to walk away if your plans or needs change.
What if I move before the lease ends?
You can either transfer the lease to the new homeowner (with Palmetto’s approval) or buy out the remaining lease balance at closing.
Does the lease include maintenance?
Yes. Annual tune-ups, filter changes, and all repairs are covered at no extra cost.
Will applying affect my credit score?
Pre-qualification uses a soft credit check, which won’t impact your score. Final approval may require a hard inquiry.
